2. Insert the battery pack, then close the battery cover. Insert the battery pack with the terminal side toward
the printer.
3. To remove the battery pack, press the blue hook to unlock it, then hold the tab and pull out the battery
pack.
CAUTION
• Be sure to turn the power off before removing or replacing
the battery pack.
• When the power is off, the LCD display turns off. Do not
remove the battery pack until the LCD display turns off.
• Note that removing the battery pack by the operation above
may prevent updating the information in the printer mem-
ory.
