11.1. Special Bearings
Some acids are not compatible with the PEEK-material in the machines bearings.
For those applications we have a different set of bearings with Carbon instead
of PEEK. These bearings are black instead of brown; your machines may be
equipped with these bearings. If you experience problems, you can order the
bearings as spare parts.
NOTE! The Carbon is NOT compatible with all acids that PEEK is compatible with;
contact Scanjet for more information.
