7. Unpacking
m ATTENTION!
The device and the packaging material are not
children’s toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, lms or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or su󰀨ocating!
Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage.
If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
8. Before commissioning
Assembly
m Attention!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
Guide bar assembly (Fig. 3 - 9)
Fit the lower push bar (4) as shown in Figures 3 + 4.
A󰀩x the bar with four hexagonal screws (E, F), two
washers (G), two plastic star grip nuts (5) and two
locknuts (D).
Connect the upper push bar (handle) (1) to the lower
push bar (4). To do so, use two plastic star grip nuts
(5) with the corresponding hexagonal screws (F)
and washers (G) (Fig. 5 + 6)
Fit the draw wire holder (B) on the right side of the
steering bar as shown in Fig. 7.
Fasten the cables to the push bar with the two cable
clamps (A). (Fig. 8 + 9)
- if the machine starts to vibrate unusually strongly
(inspect immediately)
Corrective maintenance instructions
Switch o󰀨 the motor prior to cleaning, repairing, in-
specting or adjusting the machine and ensure that all
parts in motion have been stopped.
Disconnect the ignition cable and position the cable
away from the spark plug in order to prevent accidental
starting.
Have the machine repaired by qualied personnel
using only original spare parts. This ensures that the
safety of the machine is upheld.
