5. Using the Wireless Utility
5.1. Introduction
The Wireless Utility is installed during the CDR Wireless Sensor Software setup
program. This tool is used to:
• Select the Sensor and Receiver RF channel
• Perform firmware upgrades
• Perform diagnostic tests
These features are accessible from the Wireless Utility Information screen, a sample of
which is shown in Figure 2.
During normal operation, there is little need to use the utility. It is intended principally
for troubleshooting RF interference or Sensor-to-Receiver communication problems that
result in either no images or images with poor quality.
