6.2.2.4. Surface Mounting (with Velcro Strips)
1. Select an area that will most likely face the front of the patient and be
within 6 feet (1.8 meters) of the area where the Wireless Sensor will be
used.
2. Attach the Antenna / Receiver Mounting Adapter (Table 4).
3. Use the flat area on the Mounting Adapter as a guide and secure the
Antenna / Receiver to any flat surface using the Velcro strips provided
(Figure 12).
6.2.2.5. Suspended Ceiling Mounting (with Clips)
1. Select an area that will most likely face the front of the patient and be
within 6 feet (1.8 meters) of the area where the Wireless Sensor will be
used.
2. Use the recessed area along the inside of the Adapter as a guide to place
the Adapter on the ceiling T-bar. Using commercially available ceiling
clips, secure the Adapter to the ceiling (Figure 12).
3. Attach the Antenna / Receiver Mounting Adapter (Table 4).
6. Using standard computer network Category 5 cable, connect the USB Interface to the
Antenna / Receiver.
7. Using the USB cable provided with your system, connect the cable from the USB
Interface to the PC workstation. If you need a different USB cable from the one
supplied with your system, refer to the CDR Wireless User Guide for compatible
cable lengths and markings.
