Maintaining the charge
Your motorcycle is equipped with a diagnostic socket
(1), under the rider seat, to which you can connect a
special charger (2) charge
maintenance kit no. 69928471A (Europe),
no. 69928471AW (Japan), 69928471AX (Australia),
69928471AY (UK), 69928471AZ (USA), available from
our sales network.
To gain access, remove the rider seat as described in
chapter “Removing and the seat”.
Slide out the plug (3) by pressing the tab from the
base of connector (A) and connect the diagnostic
socket to the charger (2).
Note
The electric system of this model is designed so
as to ensure there is a very low power drain when the
motorcycle is OFF. the
features a self-discharge rate that is normal
and depends on ambient conditions as well as on
"non-use" time.
