25. SELF-TESTING
The main
purposes of
these tests are to check
the operations of
the game boards,
to
find
the defects
if
any, to
adjust the
monitor
colors properly, and to
make sure
the
sounds
are
produced
satisfactorily. It is also performed to
indicate
the
assignments
of
the dip switches, check bookkeeping
functions,
etc.

map area

the RAMs.
To test
the operation
of
the coin switch,
shift lever,
handle/accelerator,
brake, start
switch, service

To test the operation

lamps.

check the
limit
switches and
to
make
adjustments
to the machine's rolling
function.
To
check the
quality
of the sounds produced by
the PCB
and the
video disc,
and to
adjust the
balance
of the
speakers.
To check
if
the
colors on
the monitor are
displayed correctly.
To
indicate each dip switch assignment.
To
indicate
information data
on
average
score,
average play
time,
etc.
When
the
power is turned
off,
a
backup
battery system automatically
takes
over,
thus
allowing
the
continuous
storage
of
all
bookkeeping
data.
Using this
item will
enable
you
to
clear said data.
