2.4 TG (TACHO-GENERATOR) OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS
The TG is a signal generator directly connected to the motor, that generates false sine waves of two
cycles per 1 turn of the motor. These waves are converted by a waveform shaping circuit into
rectangular wave signals, which are used as a pulse impression timing signal for the thermal head.
