If your Sentry Garage Door Opener moves a short distance and then stops with an error beep when you're trying to program the limits, there might be a few reasons: * The door may not be balanced. Check the door for any tight spots during upward travel and fix them. * The spool wheel could be bent. In this case, replace the spool wheel or fit an adaptor wheel. * There might be dirt or foreign matter on the encoder wheel. Ensure the area is clean and free of dust or any foreign material.
