1. If pneumatic free-spool
clutch is used, insufcient
air supply can be reason
2. If hydraulic free-spool
clutch is used, insufcient
air supply can be reason
3. The winch is under load
4. The free-spool clutch is
damaged
– Disengage the
free-spool clutch and
rotate the drum till the
drive chain engages
– Dismantle the
free-spool clutch or for
some models the
winch and replace the
return spring.
An authorized repair
service should be used
– Contact an authorized
repair service
– Check the compressed
air supply
– Check the oil supply
– Spool out the rope and
unload
– Contact an authorized
repair service
