Spindle offset adjustment mode
Press the "DISC MENU" key.
(When the adjustment is complete, the unit turns back to the dynamic test mode,
and "3000000 00000000" is displayed on the screen.)
Tray is opened.

(The spindle offset is adjusted automatically.)
The adjustment result is indicated in the ~~~~ portion.

[ROM REWRITING MODE]
This mode is able to update the version of the DVD program.
Please confirm the program version according to the procedure for the DVD test mode before you start the rewriting.
1. Connect a computer to the unit as shown below. Start the rewriting software of the computer.
2. Pressing both of the "PLAY" key and the "SKIP/FWD" key on the DVD front panel of the unit, turn the power on.
(Keep on pressing both keys for 3 seconds or so.)
The unit turns into the ROM rewriting mode, and the VCR indicator starts flashing at 1Hz.
3. Following the computer’s onscreen message, type in "Y" and press "ENTER" key. When the command for the data
transfer starts the rewriting job, the VCR indicator and the DVD indicator are alternately flashing at 1Hz.
4.When the rewriting is complete, only the DVD indicator keeps on flashing at 1Hz.
5.Finally press the "STOP" key of the DVD and turn the power off.
