It is important to erase received messages after you listen to them to ensure that
the memory does not become full. This is done as follows:

Erasing general messages:To erase
all messagesIn the General Box,
press and hold down the DELETE key
for at least 2 seconds, If the General
Box has a passcode. press the DE-
LETE keyand then enter the
passcode.
Erasing personal messages:To
erase all messagesin a personal box,
press the DELETE key(do not hold it
down), enter the number of the box,
and then enter Its passcode (if It has
one).
Erasing a single message:To erase
only a single message, press the DE-
LETE key while the message ISbeing
played.
You can use the
R key to record telephoneconversations and
messages for other users of the FO-455. These WIIIbe recorded in the General
Box, and played back together with any Incoming messages in that box wnen the
PLAY/SKIP key ISpressed.

message, hold down the l?EC/MEMO
key and speakfacing the “MIC”mark
on the lower left corner of the machine
at a distance of about 20 to 30 cm.
