WARNING: When cleaning the unit, be sure to fi rst unplug the power cord.

The fi lter must be cleaned regularly in order to maintain the ion density.
Filter soiling depends on the usage environment, so clean the filter about once a
month or whenever the fi lter is clogged, even if the Filter Clean Light has not turned
on.
Pull out the fi lter at the bottom of the main
unit and remove the dust on the fi lter by a
vacuum cleaner.
<For Stubborn Dirt>
• Remove and rinse in water.
(Use a soft sponge if the dirt does not come off easily.)

Do not press the vacuum cleaner strongly against the fi lter, otherwise the fi lter could be damaged.
• If using synthetic kitchen detergent, rinse well to remove all traces of the detergent.
Also, be sure to dry the fi lter in the shade.

Reattach
Press the Filter Reset Button for
at least 3 seconds.

Once cleaning is completed, then
press and hold the Filter Reset Button
for at least 3 seconds to turn off the
Filter Clean Light.
Even if the Filter
Clean Light is off,
press and hold
the Filter Reset
Button for at least
3 seconds after
cleaning.
Filter Clean Light
Filter Clean Light will be lit after approx.
1 month (approx. 720 hours), when
operated 24 hours a day.

Filter Clean Light
When the Filter Reset Button is
pressed and held in for at least 3
seconds, the light flashes twice then
turns off.
Dry in the shade.
Attach it so that the character
“FRONT” faces upward
