Both types have the overeurrent proteetion for VCC (+5V) and VDD (+12V)
lines so that the output ean be turned off when a short eireuit is met or
an abnormal load is added. However, the power supply unit may sometimes
not reeover its normal funetion imrnediately after removal of the enuse. in
such event, turn the power switch off, wait for 30 to 40 seconds, then turn
power on. lf power is not supplied on even after this, there may be a
possible opening of the fuse or a trouble.
As no overeurrent protection i8 done to VGG (-12V), eare must be exercised
not to short the line . . lf ~horted incidentally, it rnay burn out the fuse
resistor or damage the output stage transistvr .
