Installing the battery mount
– Firmly close the charging port cap.
– Pass the power cord through the frame and leave it hanging over the drive unit
installation area.

NOTICE
• Mounting screws (M5) for the battery mount are not included with SHIMANO
products. Use the screws supplied by the bicycle manufacturer. Contact the
bicycle manufacturer for the tightening torque.
External mount type
Depending on the frame, it may be installed at a location different from the position specified
in this section.

The SHIMANO original tool TL-BME01 can be used to easily determine the installation location
for the key unit.
