Release the battery lock.
(1) Insert the key into the key cylinder of the battery mount.
(2) Turn the key.
(3) Push the key in.
The battery is unlocked. The spring on the plate retains the battery in the designated position and prevents it from
falling out.

Remove the battery.
(1) Remove the key, and close the keyhole cap.
(2) Carefully remove the battery.
NOTICE
Do not remove or install the battery with the key remaining in the key cylinder or the keyhole cap removed.
The battery may be damaged by striking the key handle or keyhole cap.
