  If SHOWTEC Light Fixtures reset correctly but some respond erratically, it could be due to poor data quality. Check the data quality. Inspect connections and cables, correcting poor connections and replacing damaged cables. Ensure the data link is terminated with a 120 Ohm termination plug in the output jack of the last fixture on the link. Verify the address settings. Bypass one fixture at a time to identify any defective fixture disturbing the link by unplugging both connectors and connecting them directly together. If the 3-pin XLR Out on the fixtures does not match (pins 2 and 3 reversed), install a phase-reversing cable between the fixtures or swap pin 2 and 3 in the fixture that behaves erratically. If problem persists, have the defective fixture serviced by a qualified technician.

  If all SHOWTEC Light Fixtures reset correctly but respond erratically or not at all to the controller, ensure the controller is properly connected. If the 3-pin/5-pin XLR Out of the controller doesn't match the XLR In of the first fixture (signal reversed), install a phase reversing cable between the controller and the first fixture.
