The AS30 Core array sensors can be used in any application that requires the detection
of an edg

Edges with a low contrast difference on transparent or reflective materials can be
detected using a Prime device and the Reflector setting.
This variant of the AS30 Core provides 2 operating modes:
Edge:
Detection and positioning of an edge, for example for edge guiding (smoothed
position value).
Position:
Detection and positioning of an edge for highly accurate positioning (accurate posi‐
tion value).
