4.4.5 Laser alignment aid
Important information

Hazard due to lack of effectiveness of the protective device
The integrated laser alignment aid switches the OSSDs to the OFF state.

Make sure that the outputs of the safety light curtain do not have any effect on the
machine when the integrated laser alignment aid is activated.

Only use the integrated laser alignment aid to align the safety light curtain.
Prerequisites

Switch
The switch is mounted in the control cabinet. A relay or a PLC can also be used as a
switch to enable the integrated laser alignment aid to be switched on and off via a con‐
trol panel, for example.
The switch must be connected in accordance with the circuit diagram below.
