5.7 Installation

Read the information on aligning the sender and receiver.

Disconnect the voltage supply before starting to mount the explosion-proof enclo‐
sure to avoid igniting hazardous atmospheres.

Only reconnect the voltage supply once you have completed the mounting process.

If you have to remove the cover when working on the safety light curtain, make
sure that the joints and o-ring are clean and undamaged before refitting the cover.

Persons or parts of the body to be protected may not be recognized or not recognized in
time in case of non-observance.

Observe the minimum distances calculated for the machine in which the safety
light curtain is integrated.

Mount the safety light curtain such that it is not possible to reach under, over,
around, or stand behind the safety light curtain, and that the safety light curtain
cannot be repositioned.
