Connecting to the mains power supply
ì Insert the plug on the thin cable into the
connection socket for the mains adapter
on the Gigaset WLAN Repeater.
ì
Plug the mains adapter into a socket to
which no other devices are connected.
Please remember:
Never plug the mains adapter into a power
socket if you are not sure that it complies
with the values on the nameplate. The
mains adapter and device could be
destroyed and you might be injured.
Aligning the aerials
ì Align the two aerials.
To cover the greatest possible area, you
should position the aerials at right-angles
to each other. The greatest directional
selectivity can be achieved by positioning
the aerials parallel to each other. In this
case the aerials should be at right-angles to
the communication partner.
The configuration and monitoring program
provides information about the quality of
the connection. Try out the aerial positions
to see which gives the best results for your
location.
