4.3 Notes
● It is allowed to mix speaker loops and stub lines on one loop audio matrix (See
Loop audio matrices [➙ 17]). The supervision of stub lines is limited to
impedance supervision. The usage of 'EOL3 (active)' PCA2004-A1 is
prohibited.
● It is allowed to connect max. two speaker loops to one amplifier. Both loops
must be in the same speaker zone.
● It could occur on background music with high level that a fault display will be
delayed and the loop isolator LED doesn’t show the correct status. This
malfunction disappears as soon as the sound level drops.
In order to further increase the reliability and the availability of the loudspeaker
systems, the following planning is recommended:
● Set up two loop segments in one room separated by loop isolators and install
at least one speaker in each segment
● Set up two separated loops in one room/building, connecting to one power
amplifier respectively
● Set up two separated loops in one room/building, connecting to one audio
matrix respectively
● Set up two separated loops in one room/building, connecting to one cabinet
respectively
