Introduction
Operating modes describe the states of the CPU. The operating modes can be set via the
Web server, the CPU Control Tool or STEP 7.
In these operating modes, the CPU can communicate, e.g., via the PN/IE interface.
The status LEDs indicate the current operating mode.
