Definitions and naming conventions
The following terms are used in this documentation:

CPU: This term refers to the CPU 1505SP (F)
If a piece of information only affects one of the CPU versions, it is explicitly named.
●
STEP 7: For designation of the configuration and programming software, we use "STEP
7" in this documentation as a synonym for version "STEP 7 V15.1 (TIA Portal)".
●
PC: This term designates a CPU 1515SP PC2.
