Apart from the measurement method "Single
period", there is also an additional measure
ment method "Multiple periods" available.
The period duration is determined based on all
periods in a measuring cycle, with the measur
ing cycle length corresponding to one applica
tion cycle (e.g. servo clock).
This method provides a more accurate meas
urement for short periods. In addition, meas
urement value variations are evened out.
