Removing the top cover
To remove the top cover, follow these steps:
1.
Open the top cover.
2.
Release the cover by applying gentle pressure to the side of the hinge.
3.
Swing the cover aside to remove it.
Opening the bottom cover
The operator controls of the SIMATIC Drive Controller and the slot for the SIMATIC memory
card are located behind the bottom cover.
To open the bottom cover, follow these steps:
1.
Press the "Push" button ③ to unlock the cover.
2.
Fold down the cover ④.
The MAC addresses ⑥ of the SIMATIC Drive Controller and information about the device can
be found on the inside of the bottom cover.
Closing the bottom cover
To close the bottom cover, follow these steps:
1.
Tilt the cover up.
2.
Press the "Push" button ③ to lock the cover.
