5.1.8.2 Diagnostics in direct data exchange
Diagnostic addresses
In direct data exchange you assign a diagnostic address in the recipient:

Diagnostic address
During configuration you specify a diagnostic address in the
recipient that is assigned to the sender.
By means of this diagnostic address, the recipient obtains
information on the status of the sender or a bus interruption
(see also following table).
Event detection
The following table shows you how the CPU 41x as recipient detects interruptions in data
transfer.
