Error and Fault Displays and Special Characteristics
The three LEDs INTF, EXTF and FRCE on the front panel of the CPU indicate errors and
special features in user program execution.
Table 2-4 Possible statuses of the INTF, EXTF and FRCE LEDs

The LEDs BUS1F and BUS5F indicate errors on the MPI/DP, PROFIBUS DP and
PROFINET IO interfaces.

Error and Fault Displays and Special Characteristics
The CPUs 41x-3 also feature the IFM1F LED. This LED indicates problems relating to the
memory submodule interface.
