2 Configuring the hardware
2.1 Requirements
A prepared PCS 7 project is required in which at least the CPU, one PROFINET IO
system and one operator station (OS) / single station, as well as the
communication paths between the operator station (OS) / single station to the CPU
are already configured.
2.2 Integrating the GSDML file
Open the hardware configuration and install the corresponding GSDML file in the
preferred language. Make sure you have the correct firmware version

Procedure
1. Download the PROFINET GSDML file for the G120X
(.zip archive with .xml and .bmp).
2. Extract the .zip file to a local directory.
3. In the hardware configuration, select the menu: "Options > Install GSD File…"
4. Browse… > Select storage directory for the GSDML
5. Select the GSDML > Install
