7. Shift one of the thicker GRP spacers onto the GRP threaded rod. Shift CU bar "A3+" onto
the GRP threaded rods.
8. Screw the CU bar onto the busbars of the capacitor cabinet and the power section using
M8 x 20 mm screws. Tighten the screws with a torque of 13 Nm.
9. Shift the last narrow GRP spacer and the Makrolon cover onto the GRP threaded rods.
Note
● For the upper connection, first shift the Makrolon cover and then the GRP spacer. The
Makrolon cover lies on the copper bar.
● For the lower connection, first shift the GRP spacer and then the Makrolon cover. The
Makrolon cover lies on the GRP spacer.
10.From the front, screw the GRP nuts onto the GRP threaded rods. Tighten the nuts with a
torque of 10 Nm.
5.6 Connecting to the foundation
Preparatory steps
1. Ensure that access to the holes in the bottom of the cabinets is unobstructed.
Securing the cabinet to the floor
The following details are specified in the dimension drawing:
● Mounting holes
● Mounting dimensions
● Distance between the cabinet top and the room ceiling
Holes are provided for M12 screws for securing the cabinet to the foundation.
Install the transportation units in accordance with the specifications provided in the
accompanying dimension drawings in "Layout diagrams and dimension drawings".
