Operating system settings
Check the following settings of your operating system:
1. Select "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Regional Settings".
2. Open the "Location" tab.
The setting "United States" must be selected in the "Home location" drop-down list.
3. Open the "Administrative" tab.
In the section "Language for non-Unicode programs", the language "English (United
States)" must be selected for programs that do not support Unicode.
