2.3 Activating tool statistics (Manage MyResources only)
At the SINUMERIK control system, using the SINUMERIK Operate operating system, set a
machine data to activate capturing program run and tool usage times when acquiring the
statistical data for each configured channel.
Setting machine data
Set the following bits of the machine data:
MD27860 $MC_PROCESSTIMER_MODE Activates and influences the program runtime meas‐
urement
Bit 0 = 1 The measurement of the total runtime for all part programs is active ($AC_OPERAT‐
ING_TIME)
Bit 1 = 1 Measuring of the current program runtime is active ($AC_CYCLE_TIME)
Bit 2 = 1 The measurement of the tool cutting time is active ($AC_CYCLE_TIME)
