6. Bicycle Detection
Accurate Bicycle Detection
For accurate bicycle detection the following settings are recommended;
1. Use manual loop sensitivity setting (Hz mode)
2. Ideally use an appropriate loop geometry
6.1. Loop Type for Bicycle Detection Applications
The chevron loop is normally recommended for bicycle detection. A normal vehicle loop does
not provide the ideal sensitivity for a bicycle.
