Pulse triggering
Description
Pulse triggering uses the patient's pulse to trigger the measurement.
A pulse sensor is connected to the patient's toe or finger. The first
pulse wave (“premature pulse wave”) is used for triggering. This wave
corresponds to the systolic blood pressure.
A number of special sequences support retrospective gating.
Performing
Suitable finger adapter is attached.
1 Ensure that the cable is not bent.
2 Attach the pulse sensor to a finger or on a toe.
3 Ensure that the pulse sensor is attached properly.
The red LED (fault) at the PPU is flashing rapidly?
No analyzable signal is available.
Ensure that the pulse sensor is attached correctly.
The pulse sensor is attached.
