7.3 Changing the roller in
the floorhead
You can replace the rotating brush37 in-
side the floorhead35 with the hard floor
roller40.
1. Turn the floorhead35 upside down.
2. Pull the small button outwards towards
the open lock symbol and remove the
small cover.
3. Remove the rotating brush37 from the
floorhead35.
4. Instead of the rotating brush37, insert
the hard floor roller40 into the floor-
head35.
5. Replace the small cover. Pull the small
button outwards towards the open lock
symbol while closing the small cover.
6. Let go of the small button again. It
points to the closed lock symbol.
7. You can swap the rotating brush37
and the hard floor roller40 back again
in the same manner.
7.4 Prior to every use
Prior to every use, the following parts must
be assembled:
Filter unit
The filter unit consists of:
the motor protection fil-
ter15, the paper fil-
ter13 and the filter
carrier12 with the met-
al filter10.
• Always insert the
complete filter unit
into the dust contain-
er8.
Dust container
Only use the dust con-
tainer8 with the com-
plete filter unit.
• Place the dust con-
tainer8 onto the suc-
tion device2
(see “Assembling the
dust container” on
page 33) from be-
low.
Battery
The vacuum cleaner can-
not be operated unless
the battery29 is assem-
bled and charged.
• Insert the battery29
into the battery com-
partment7 until it en-
gages audibly.
• To remove the battery29 from the bat-
tery compartment7, press in both un-
locking buttons6 of the battery and pull
the battery out.
