10. Cleaning and care
DANGER!
~ Pull the mains plug out of the wall socket
before you clean the device.
~ Allow the device to cool down before
cleaning.
CAUTION:
~ All parts becoming damp or wet, must
be dried completely prior to the next
use.
~ Do not clean using sharp objects or
abrasive cleaning agents.
Switch off the device and remove the bat-
tery29 prior to cleaning.
Cleaning the battery
• Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the
battery29.
Cleaning the suction device and
the floorhead
• For cleaning the suction device2 and
the floorhead35, use a soft, damp
cloth.
Cleaning the crevice nozzle and
the brush nozzle
• The crevice nozzle44 and the brush
nozzle43 can be cleaned under run-
ning water.
Cleaning the metal filter, the mo-
tor protection filter and the ex-
haust air filters
• The metal filter10, the motor protection
filter15 and the exhaust air filters18
can be cleaned under running water.
Cleaning the paper filter
• The paper filter13 can be emptied by
tapping on it.
Replacing the filters
• Check all filters regularly for damage or
deformations. Damaged or deformed
filters that can no longer be cleaned
must be replaced. This is necessary in
order to maintain the full performance
of the vacuum cleaner and to avoid
damage to the device.
• Filter sets can be reordered (see “Order-
ing accessories” on page 37).
Cleaning the rotating brush and
the hard floor roller
1. Remove the rotating brush37 / the
hard floor roller40 from the floorhead
(see “Changing the roller in the floor-
head” on page 31).
2. Tap the rotating brush37 / hard floor
roller40 gently to remove dust. If e.g.
hair has become tangled, pull it off with
your fingers.
3. Reinsert the rotating brush37 / hard
floor roller40 into the floorhead35
(see “Changing the roller in the floor-
head” on page 31).
LED bar
The LED bar39 does not require mainte-
nance. It is not possible to replace individual
LEDs or the LED bar.
11. Storage
If you do not want to use the device for ex-
tended periods, keep it in a dry location.
