Cleaning the appliance
■ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. For
stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the
cloth. Wipe off any detergent residue using a
cloth moistened with fresh water. Then dry the
appliance carefully.
Cleaning accessories
■ Clean the mixing bowl , the lid , the blender
lid 0 with the lid catch .and measuring cup
!, the blade 1, the drive unit lid % and the
attachments -3 in warm water with a
little detergent. Any residues can be removed
with a washing-up brush. Rinse all parts with
fresh hot water and make sure that all parts are
dry before re-using them.
NOTE

The attachments -3, the lid /
, mixing bowl , blender 6,
blender lid 0, measuring cup !and
the blade 1with the sealing ring can
be cleaned in the dishwasher. We
recommend hand-washing all parts,
however.
► If you clean components in the dishwasher,
please ensure that no plastic parts can get
jammed or caught anywhere. Otherwise, they
may become deformed!
► If possible, place all plastic parts in the top
basket of the dishwasher.
Cleaning the blender
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Do not handle the blade 1 with your bare
hands.
■ Remove the blade 1 from the blender 6to
clean it thoroughly:
– if necessary, pull the blender lid 0off
the blender 6 as described in the section
“Working with the blender”.
– Turn the blender 6upside down.
– Use the lid catch .to remove the blade 1.
To do this, place the lid catch .in the
locking tabs on the bottom of the blade 1
and turn them anticlockwise until the blade
1can be removed (figs. 4).

Afterwards, rinse all parts with fresh water so
that no detergent residues remain.
