Example of two separate satellite feeders:
• You record a channel from transponder A on (REC 1).
• You record a channel from transponder B on (REC 2).
The channel which you wish to watch can be selected only from the currently
running transponders (depending on the recording). You can make a channel
selection from the transponders A and B. The remaining transponders are not
available.
Example of a satellite feeder:
• You record a channel from transponder A on (REC 1).
• You record a channel from transponder A on (REC 2).
The channel which you wish to watch can be selected only from the currently
running transponder (depending on the recording). You can make a channel
selection from the transponder A. The remaining transponders are not
available.
Example of a Cable Bridge (Loop):
• You record a channel from transponder A on (REC 1).
• You record a channel from transponder B on (REC 2).
The channel which you wish to watch can be selected only from the currently
running transponders (depending on the recording). You can make a channel
selection from the transponders A and B. The remaining transponders are not
available. The cable bridge, however, offers you more options than with only
one satellite feeder. They are described on page 35.
Direct recording
You can record the currently running shows directly, without programming a
timer.
 Press the  key (29) to start recording. The "Edit Timer" window opens.
