Cleaning
DANGER
Risk of fatal injury from electrocution!
► Remove the plug from the mains socket before starting to clean
the device.
CAUTION
Damage to the device!
► To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that no
moisture can penetrate the device during cleaning.
► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning
materials. These can damage the surfaces of the device.
Cleaning the housing
♦ Clean the surfaces of the device with a soft, dry cloth.
♦ Use a lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent to remove
stubborn dirt residues.
Storage when not in use
♦ If you do not intend to use the device for a long period, discon-
nect the plug from the mains power supply. Remove the batteries
from the device and store it in a clean, dry location away from
direct sunlight.
