3) Empty the contents of the dust container z
into a waste container (see Fig. 9).

4) Grasp the tab on the sieve filter, and open
the EPA filter compartment 7. Remove
the EPA filter 7 from the compartment (see
Fig. 10).

5) Clean the sieve filter with the cleaning
brush 0 (see Fig. 11).

6) Clean the dust container z and the sieve
filter with cold or lukewarm water (see Fig.
12). Allow the dust container z and sieve
filter to air dry completely before reinserting
the dust container z into the appliance.

7) Tap the EPA filter 7 lightly in a waste
bin, or vacuum it carefully with a handheld
vacuum cleaner.
8) Place the EPA filter
7 back in the compart-
ment, and close the dust container z (see
Fig. 13).

9) Push the dust container z into the appliance
until you hear it click into place.

► We recommend replacing the EPA filter
7
every 6 months or after approx. 150 oper-
ating hours.
