SETTING UP
TheSD1runseitheron4AAbatteries,ortheincluded9VACadapter.Followthe
instructions below for whichever power source you intend to use.
Using the AC-Adapter
ConnectthepoweradaptertotheDCjacklocatedontherearpaneloftheunit,andplug
theACpoweradapterintoanACpoweroutlet.
Donotuseanyadapterotherthantheoneprovided.Thetechnicalspecicationsofthe
adapterare9VDCoutput,500mA,center-positivetype.
Using Batteries
Press down and slide the lid off of the battery compartment located on the bottom of
the unit.
Placethebatteriesintothetray,makingsurethattheirpositiveandnegativesidesmatch
the[+]and[–]marksontheunit.
When to Change the Battery
ThebatteryLOWindicatoratthelowerrightofthedisplaywillashwhenthebattery
powerdrops.Insufcientbatterypowerlowersthevolumeleveloftheminispeakerand
causes unstable operation. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
