Additional features on your washing machine are described
in this section.
Models with Digital Display
The digital display will show the time in minutes (or hours and
minutes) to complete the wash program.
NOTE: This time does not include the time that the washing machine
will take to fill with water because of the different water pressures
in homes.
The display will also show codes for your information and
guidance. (See below)
Information and guidance feature
The washing machine will give you information by displaying
codes in the Digital Display or by using the control panel lights
and the ‘beeping’ function.

Display code
All WATER TEMP lights FLASHING RAPIDLY
and you get 15 fast 'beeps' every 4 minutes.
Indicates the machine has gone out of balance during
spin. Open lid, redistribute load and close lid.
All WATER TEMP lights FLASHING SLOWLY
and you get 5 fast 'beeps' every 4 minutes.
Lid is in the open position.
Close the lid.
RINSE light gives 4 blinks
and you get 3 slow 'beeps' every 4 minutes.
The machine has reached the end of the drip dry
program. Open lid, remove clothes and close lid.
The machine is doing nothing and the
WASH progress indicator light blinks 3 times.
Your machine is soaking. Heavy Duty program only.
Wait for up to 6 minutes for soak to finish.
The machine is doing nothing and
a PROGRESS INDICATOR light blinking 'ON'
2 times every 3 seconds.
The machine has paused to allow motor controller to
cool. Wait, and after a short delay of a
minute or so, the wash will continue.
A PROGRESS INDICATOR light is FLASHING.
PROGRESS light(s) right of FLASHING light are 'ON'.
Time remaining

The machine is in pause mode.
Press START/PAUSE to continue.
The machine is doing nothing and
only the WASH progress light is 'ON'.

The machine is in Auto sensing mode
determining the correct water level for your load.
The machine is doing nothing and
a PROGRESS INDICATOR light blinks 'OFF'
2 times every 5 seconds.

The machine is busy preparing for the next stage of
the wash. Wait, and after a short delay
the wash will continue.
LID LOCKED light is 'ON'.
The machine is in a spin stage and the lid is locked
in the closed position. Wait for the lid locked light to
switch off before trying to open the lid.
FINISHED light is ON'
and you get 3 slow 'beeps' every 4 minutes.
The wash program has finished.
Start a new wash or close down your machine.
For ALL models, one or more lights are flashing
rapidly and the machine is 'beeping' a lot.
The machine is informing you of a fault with the
washing machine which you need to address.
Refer to pages 15 & 16 for further information,
and what you should do before calling for service.
