Lubrication
and Oil
Drainage
As this is a high speed
machine, DO NOT
run it before filling the
oil and making sure
the correct turning
direction of the motor.

When the machine is operated for
the first time or was idle for a long
time, apply 2 or 3 oil drops as indi-
cated in Figure 5
Fill the machine with appropriate
lubricate oil (Singer Oil) by remov-
ing the cap as indicated on Figure 6,
until the oil level is between the
marks of the oil level sight window.
Add oil when the oil surface
reaches or goes below the lower
mark ‘ L’ .
Check if the oil is circulating prop-
erly by observing the oil sight
window, as shown on Figure 7.
Fill the device with silicone oil
before it is too low in order to
prevent needle thread breakage
and fabric damage, as shown on
Figure 8.
