Differential Feed
Rate Adjustment
The differential feed ratio is the ra-
tio of movements between the main
feed dog and differential feed dog.
When the movement of main feed
dog is bigger than the differential
feed dog, the fabric is stretched at
sewing. Otherwise the fabric will
shrink.
Loosen nut ‘1’ of Figure 26 and
move the lever ‘2’ up or down to
obtain the correct differential ratio.
Retighten the nut ‘1’.
