Move the grinding head back and forth
across the reel and check for correct
function of the blade stop and indexer.
Turn the reel drive motor off.
5.8 Adjusting for variations in the amount
of relief
The amount of relief can vary from
one end of the reel to the other due to
variations in the rake angle, rear roller
position and other reasons. Regardless of
the reason, the adjustment to compensate
is the same.
Move the grinding head to the left end
of the reel.
