To adjust the steering curve correctly follow the
next steps:
Loosen the screw (1).
Set the lever (2):
Right rotor
a) to the right (in driving direction) = spring tines
lift later (in case of turning the swaths or fresh
fodder);
b) to the left (in driving direction) = spring tines
lift earlier (in case of swathing or dry fodder).
Left rotor
c) to the left (in driving direction) = spring tines
lift later (in case of turning the swaths or fresh
fodder);
d) to the right (in driving direction) = spring tines
lift earlier (in case of swathing or dry fodder).
After the shift fix the lever (2) with the screw (1)
again.
Clean swathing is achieved with the
correct steering curve adjustment.
3.6 Preparing the swather for transport
The swather can be transported in high transport
position or lowered transport position.
The rotors are lifted with the oneway-working pull-
cylinder hydraulics into the transport position or
lowered into working position.
The twoway-working cylinder hydraulics enables
telescopic folding of the rotor holder, to lower the
transport height when transporting.
When preparing the machine for
transport or working position nobody is
allowed to stay in the area of moving
rotors.
Assure the transport position with
locked stop of the rotor holder.
When preparing the machine for
transport or working position, or in
transport position never switch on the
P.T.O. shaft! Material damage and
danger of dropping parts!
Be careful when driving the swather in
transport position in inclination as well
as driving in curves because of danger
of overthrowing.
Always place the declinatory tube of the
rotors into transport or working
position. Danger of stitch and material
damage!
