–
Set the declinatory tube into vertical position.
–
Set the swather from transport position into
working position.
–
Adapt the swathing width to the fodder quantity.
–
Check the P.T.O. shaft rotation 540 rpm.
–
Optimal P.T.O. shaft rotation is 400 -
500 rpm.
–
For good swather work check all
recommanded basic and curve
adjustments.
3.7.1 Crossing the swaths
Crossing of swaths is done from tractor's seat during
the drive with lifted and driven rotors. Only oneway-
working pull-cylinder hydraulics up to the top rotor
lifting is used.
–
It is forbidden to stay in the working
area of the machine.
–
It is forbidden to come close to rotating
tines, danger of stroke and spring leg
stitch.
–
Adapt the drive speed to ground
conditions, especially in inclination and
curves.
–
Attention! Do not control the stop with
the string!
–
In working position switch on the oneway-working
pull-cylinder hydraulics from the tractor's seat
during the drive to lift the rotors up to bolt back (2)
on the rotor holder with the stop (1). Attention! Do
not control the stop with the string!
–
After crossing lower the rotors to the ground with
the oneway-working pull-cylinder hydraulics.
4. Traffic regulations
The swather is serially equipped with warning plates
and lights.
4.1 Transporting the swathe on the roads
–
When driving on public roads and paths
consider the local regulations for traffic
marking.
5. Maintenance and periodical overhauls
5.1 Special sefety instructions
–
Repair works, maintenance, periodical
overhauls, cleaning and elimination of
funtctional disturbances must be
performed with the switched off drive
and stand still engine! Remove the
ignition key!
–
It is forbidden to perform repair works
or maintenance on the machine in lifted
position without required support.
–
Redundant grease and oil soil the
environment.
–
When injured with splashed oil find
medical help immidiately.
–
Consider other safety instructions to
prevent damages and accidents.
5.2 General
–
To insure faultless working of the
machine and to reduce the wear out
always consider the maintenance
instructions and periodical overhauls.
This includes cleaning, greasing and
lubricating of built in parts and
components.
