ADJUSTING P~ER FOOT LIFi'
Presser Foot Lift means the
distance between the Presser Foot
and the Needle Plate when the
Presser Foot is at its highest
position. (Fig 44)
!.Rotate the handwheel to lower
the Feed Dogs to the lowest
position;
2.Loose the nut (1) and lower the
screw (.2);
3.Lower the lever(3) and raise the
Presser Foot to the proper
height
4.After adjustments, raise the
screw (2) up to touch the lever
(3) and tighten the nut (1) to
lock the position.
