Own address → New.
Set your second call address (= 1st storage space
in the menu called Busaddr: 1) using the arrow keys,
this reacts to calls sent to the indoor station. Each
call address consists of a letter (A to H) and a num-
ber (1 to 12).
4 To program further call addresses repeat step 3.
No more than four additional call addresses can be saved in the device.
Attention
The DIP switch must always be set to the indoor stations main call address (= rst call
address), to keep the indoor station assigned to the respective bell button.
When choosing call addresses for more than one bell button, please mind that these
must not be used otherwise (e. g. when a bell button is already assigned to another in-
door station), or both indoor stations will ring when the respective bell button is used.
A maximum of four additional call addresses can be programmed into an indoor station. If
call addresses have to be changed either all can be deleted or each one can be changed in
the menu.
8.4 Programming of internal call addresses
8.4.1 Internal call addresses, the indoor station responds to
With internal calls the BS2012 Video indoor station hands-free can communicate with up to six different devices.
If internal calls are planned for a system, all relevant call addresses for each indoor station have to be programmed
into it. The indoor station BS2012 Video hands-free has five storage places for call addresses, the first of which is
always used for its own call address, which responds to calls coming in from the door station (ringing the bell at
the door station) and which identifies the indoor station. This must always be set at the DIP switch.
All in all four more call addresses and six internal call addresses can be programmed into an indoor station, these
can be used for the following functions:
Type of call Description
Door call Call from one or more door stations to an indoor station
Internal call Call from an indoor station to another indoor station
