The drive system and battery cooling
systems may switch on audibly during the
charging process, depending on the
temperature.
Removing the charging cable
The battery is charged completely when the
indicator in the charge level gauge is at
100% (Y page 79).

Make sure the charging cable has been
disconnected before driving off. The
vehicle or charging cable may otherwise
be damaged.
When the battery is charged:

Disconnect the charging cable plug from
the charge socket on the vehicle.
X
Slip the cover on the vehicle’s charge
socket.
X
Close the charge socket flap.
